Best times to visit NYC

The best times to visit NYC are in my opinion 3: April to June, September and October, and then late November to late December. Today I will explain why.

INTRODUCTION. First I introduce myself, for all those who are new here on my Blog. My name is Marco and I am the owner of the Instagram page “My Christmas in New York” and the Tour Company DISCOVER NYC. On my Instagram page I give daily advice to everyone who is planning a trip to NYC. I help them better prepare for their experience. With my tour company I offer the best experiences in NYC. These are 100% managed either by my team or by my amazing partners.

IMPORTANT: check regularly the LINK in BIO on my INSTAGRAM PAGE (or CLICK HERE) for the BEST TOURS & EXPERIENCES in NYC. Next to the name of each tour I also put the BEST DISCOUNT CODE you can find on the market

As I wrote at the beginning of this article of my blog, the best times to visit NYC are 3.

Now I give you more details.

Period #1: April, May and June

I love NYC during this period for the colors of its parks and its beautiful flowers. We are in the middle of spring and at this time Central Park becomes a masterpiece of colors. Temperatures are also milder compared to the previous cold months but still not as hot as in summer. Days are getting longer and you can spend more time outside in the evening to enjoy the beautiful lights of NYC.

[NYC NIGHT TOUR] Talking about NYC & its lights, you may not know it, but I am the only one selling both TripAdvisor’s No. 1 tour tickets and Top of the Rock tickets at the lowest price on the market: 15% OFF for everyone who uses the discount CODE “NY15” on the Manhattan Night Tour, both Luxury (Minivan with clear glass roof) and traditional minivan versions. The discount applies to both the tour and Top of the Rock tickets. If you have any questions, message me on Instagram at “My Christmas in New York.”

Period #2: September and October

One of the best times to visit NYC is definetely in Autumn! The hot summer months are officially over and now it’s time to start enjoying milder temperatures. As fall approaches, the trees begin to color with that beautiful foliage that is unique to New York City. Then in late October is Halloween. Newyorkers love it: houses decorated with skeletons and ghosts, themed bars, and especially the beautiful parade on October 31.

Period #3: Late November and December

My favorite period, but I’m biased. Being the owner of the “My Christmas in New York” Instagram page, I limitlessly love the fully decorated city. This is in my opinion the most unique time to visit the city, especially if you come as a couple or with children. The Christmas season in NYC officially starts the day after the Thanksgiving Day Parade (in 2023 it will be November 23). November 24, 2023 is Black Friday, and that is also when my beautiful Dyker Heights & DUMBO Christmas Lights Tour begins. On my Instagram page (@MyChristmasinNewYork) you can find lots of videos & reviews of the tour (check out the featured stories) and in the LINK in BIO you can find all the info to book the tour with me and my team.

QUESTIONS? Are you planning a trip to NYC and have questions? Send me a message on INSTAGRAM: I always answer any questions and am always happy to help you prepare for your next trip to the Big Apple!
