The 5 Best ways to visit the Statue of Liberty

Every day we receive on our social pages (Discover NYC and My Christmas in New York) so many questions from our followers about where to buy tickets to go and see the Statue of Liberty.

We decided to write a short article to tell you, in a few words, about the different options you have at your disposal to be able to see the Statue of Liberty in New York.

Option 1 – Get on Liberty Island & Ellis Island

πŸ† BEST CHOICE πŸ‘‰πŸΌ Statue of Liberty Guided Tour

The first option is the one we prefer. We know that a lot of guests just view the Statue of Liberty either from Manhattan or from a boat. For us, the best option is to go directly to the island where the Statue of Liberty is located so that we can take some memorable photos of this iconic monument.

In order to go to the island that houses the Statue of Liberty, the option that we recommend is to buy tickets for our guided tour that, in addition to including the ferry that takes you to the island of the Statue of Liberty, also includes a guided tour from Manhattan that takes you all the way under the statue.

The BEST THING about our guided tour is that in addition to having Tickets included for the ferry that takes you to the Statue of Liberty you will also have priority access to the ferry itself.

What does this mean? It means that once you meet our tour guide, he will already have in hand for you the priority access tickets to the ferry. So forget about long lines to buy tickets and long lines to get to the boat.

Moreover, after you have arrived all the way under the Statue of Liberty, thanks to our tour you will also have the opportunity to enter the Statue of Liberty museum and then also to take the ferry that will take you from the Statue of Liberty to Ellis Island that houses the most famous immigration museum in the world.

Option 2 – See the Statue of Liberty from the Ferry

πŸ† BEST CHOICE πŸ‘‰πŸΌ Manhattan Luxury Tour: Mini Bus & Ferry

The second option is to see the Statue of Liberty from a ferry or a boat. Here too we have a solution to recommend to you: we are talking about our Luxury New York City Tour that includes not only a panoramic tour of Manhattan from north to south on board a luxury minibus with a transparent panoramic glass roof, but also access to the boat that takes you from Manhattan to Staten Island and back. From the boat itself you will have a great view of not only the Downtown Manhattan Skyline, but also the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty.

Option 3 – Book our Skyline & Pizza Luxury Tour

Also includes a slice of pizza in true NYC style.

During the tour we will be able to see the Statue of Liberty during our 3rd and last stop, in New Jersey.

Relax and enjoy your NarratedΒ 60min Sightseeing Cruise to view the Statue of Liberty.

Option 5 – Take a Speedboat Tour to the Statue of Liberty & Brooklyn Bridge

πŸ† BEST CHOICE πŸ‘‰πŸΌ Statue of Liberty & Brooklyn Bridge Speedboat Ride

This is definitely the preferred choice for our guests who love risk and adrenaline.

Book our 30-minute tour that takes you right under the Statue of Liberty aboard a state-of-the-art Speedboat.

Our boat departs from an extremely favorable location for everyone, tourist or New Yorker: NORTH COVE MARINA at Brookfield Place, Manhattan. Below you will find the directions to reach the meeting point, but we assure you that it is really very easy.

After meeting your guide, we will board our Speedboat and begin a 30-minute scenic tour of New York’s waters.

We’ll be heading south, seeing first the One World Trade Center and then the entire Skyline on the left side.

We will then arrive in front of the Statue of Liberty, where we will stop to take pictures, videos and selfies.

We will then continue our navigation until we arrive under the Brooklyn Bridge.

After that we will return back to our starting point.
