Bryant Park Winter Village is one of the attractions that you absolutely cannot miss in case you visit NYC during the winter months.
We’ve put together a list for you of what we think are the top 3 reasons why stopping by Bryant Park is practically a must.
Here they are:
1. Location: Bryant Park’s Winter Village is practically 5 minutes away (by foot) from Times Square. If you find yourself strolling through Times Square in the midst of hundreds of thousands of people and you’re looking for a place where you can sit down and have a bite to eat or a drink, then Bryant Park is the place for you – you’ll always find something delicious to eat.
2. Pricing: The skating rink is absolutely free. That’s right: skating in Bryant Park doesn’t cost a penny. With an important clarification to make: the entrance to the rink is free but the rental of skates is paid. But their price is very acceptable: $20. That makes a big difference compared to the rinks at Rockefeller Center or Central Park, where you pay for both rink admission and skate rental.
3. Available months: Winter Village opens in late October and stays open until early March. Great news for those who don’t visit New York during the Christmas season. What we always recommend you do is check out their official website to see what’s open on the dates of your visit.
These are the 3 main reasons why we highly recommend visiting Bryant Park during the winter months.
