Holiday Spirit in Manhattan 3 Stops in NYC

Holiday Spirit in Manhattan: Tour Highlights

Our Holiday Spirit in Manhattan Tour starts on December 1st, 2024. Every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the My Christmas in New York Team takes many guests on a Guided Bus Tour of the best Christmas Lights in Manhattan. Our bus, with restrooms on board, departs directly from Times Square (scroll down for datailed info on the meeting point). The Holiday Spirit in Manhattan Tour 2024 lasts 4 hours and includes 3 stops.

STOP#1 - Union Square Holiday Market

The first stop is at the Union Square Holiday Market. Here we stop for 45 minutes for a leisurely stroll through the best Christmas Market in New York. You will have time to explore the Union Square Christmas Market, go shopping, and taste the delicacies from over 100 stalls at the Christmas Market. Here you will find many ideas for beautiful Christmas gifts. As for food, there’s a bit of everything: Burgers, Crepes, Tacos, Hot Chocolate, and much more! I chose to include a stop here because, in my opinion, the Union Square Christmas Market is the most beautiful in all of NYC!

STOP#2 - Wall Street Holiday Tree and Lower Manhattan

The second stop, also lasting 45 minutes, is a beautiful walking tour in Manhattan’s Financial District. We start by visiting the Wall Street Christmas Tree, as beautiful as the one at Rockefeller Center but without its crowd, and then walk past the historic Trinity Church. Our walk continues through Zuccotti Park, a small park decorated with thousands of Christmas lights! We will then enter the Oculus to take photos of this stunning architectural structure, adorned with numerous lights and Christmas ornaments. Our stroll then continues to one of NYC’s historic sites: the 9/11 memorial with the 2 pools where the Twin Towers once stood. This mix of Christmas and historical landmarks makes this stop, in my opinion, a must-do on your trip to NYC.

STOP#3 - Hudson Yards and the Vessel 2 million lights

Stop number 3, lasting approximately 30 minutes, will take you to explore Hudson Yards and the Vessel. This area of Manhattan is decorated for Christmas with over 2 million lights! You will have time to take many photos, enter the shopping center to immerse yourself in its Christmas lights and sounds. Don’t miss the gigantic hot air balloon at the entrance of Hudson Yards. Our tour guide will give you lots of tips to make the most of this stop, including unique photo spots! I love the Holiday Spirit tour stop in Manhattan at Hudson Yards and the Vessel!

End of the Tour - Times Square or Rooftop Bar?

After getting back on our Coach Bus, you’ll have 2 options to conclude the tour. The first is to return to Times Square, at the interesection of 42d Street and 7th Avenue. Alternatively, you can stay on the bus which will take you in front of the 230 Fifth Rooftop Bar. This rooftop bar has a massive panoramic terrace with the best view of the Empire State Building! We have an agreement with the Rooftop Bar to skip the line. This way, you can go straight to the top floor and enjoy a memorable view.

IMPORTANT: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays everyone is welcome at the Rooftop Bar, including families with children under 21 years old. On Friday and Saturday evenings, the Rooftop Bar is only accessible to those who are over 21 years old. It is very important that everyone, adults and children, always have an ID to present at the entrance of the Rooftop Bar.
