If you’re in the Times Square area, why not stop for a great pizza? Always watch out for scams though! In my blog I also explain how much to tip the mascots in Times Square and everything I know about the beautiful Midnight Moment.

Brooklyn is one of New York City’s five boroughs, situated across the East River from Manhattan. It’s known for its diverse neighborhoods, vibrant art scene, and beautiful waterfront views.

Popular Stops Along the Way

On the way from Times Square to Brooklyn, there are a number of famous places worth seeing.

Brooklyn Bridge

The Brooklyn Bridge connects Manhattan and Brooklyn and is a must-see. I love walking or riding my bike across the bridge, so that I can enjoy the view of the city skyline and the East River.

In my opinion it’s really fun to go from Times Square to the Brooklyn Bridge. Your walk will start in Times Square, which is known for its bright lights and crowded feel. From there, you’ll head toward the gorgeous Brooklyn Bridge. This trip takes you through the city’s busy streets and to an important historical site.

Once you get to City Hall, you will see the starting point of the pedestrian path on the Brooklyn Bridge.

9/11 Memorial

The 9/11 Memorial is a moving tribute to the persons who died in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. This landmark is in the area where the World Trade Center used to be. The footprints of the Twin Towers are made into two large reflecting pools at the memorial. On the borders of each pool are the names of all the people who died on 9/11.

My advice is also to visit the 9/11 Memorial Museum: it is very touching but you really learn a lot about the history of that event.
