To skate at Rockefeller Center you don’t have to wait until December: the rink will be opened on November 6th!
Until what day can you skate at Rockefeller Center?
Until January 2nd. For now, in fact, on the website you can buy tickets until that day.
What are the opening hours of the Rockefeller Center skating rink?
The rink is open every day from 9 am to midnight.
How much does it cost to skate at Rockefeller Center?
Skating at Rockefeller Center costs between $20 and $54 depending on the day and time you decide to skate.
Do I have to pay extra to rent skates?
Yes. 10$. But you can bring your own and pay nothing.
Can you skate on December 24 and 25?
Yes, the skating rink is open. Obviously on those days you will find the highest prices of the season. To give you an example, skating on December 24th around 5 pm will cost you $64 ($54 entrance fee + $10 skate rental).
Do I need to be vaccinated to skate at Rockefeller Center?
No. You will not be required to have proof of vaccination as it is an open-air activity.
Will it be necessary to wear a mask while skating?
No. Since this is an outdoor activity, a mask is not required.
