One of the best cheap places to eat around Times Square is Joe’s Pizza.

Joe Pozzuoli, from Naples, Italy, founded this place in 1975 and since then it became a “Greenwich Village institution”, serving the classic New York slice for over 47 years.

However, you don’t have to go all the way to Greenwich Village to get a slice of Joe’s Pizza. There is also a location directly adjacent to Times Square. It is a must-try for any pizza fan.

A pizza pie (8 slices) costs $24 and serves two people: what a great price to try one of New York’s most famous pizzas!
