Saks 5th avenue, as the name implies, is located on the 5th Avenue, just a few steps from St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Rockefeller Center. The location is really central and is easily accessible both on foot and by subway.

When does the Saks 5th Avenue Light and Sound show start?

There is no official date for the opening ceremony, but based on the experience of past years, we can tell you that the show opens a few days before Thanksgiving.

To give you an example, in 2021 the opening was on November 24.

What does the Saks 5th Avenue Light and Sound show consist of?

The Saks 5th Avenue Light and Sound Show is a fantastic 3-minute show that runs every night from late November through Christmas.

The show is played regularly throughout the evening. So, if you arrive that it’s about to end, don’t leave: wait less than 10 minutes and the show will start all over again.
