Aside from the first few days of April that can still be a bit chilly, by mid-month and then even more so in the last days of the month, the temperatures become really pleasant during the day. This makes it possible to enjoy long walks around the city, with its spring lights and beautiful flowers decorating the parks.

As can be seen in the image above, both minimum and maximum temperatures in New York City in April are rising.

Everyone who comes to New York at the beginning of the month can expect a minimum temperature around 41 degrees Farenheit (5 degrees Celsius) and a maximum of 55 degrees Fareheit (13 degrees Celsius).

At the end of the month, the weather in New York in April is much milder. In fact, average temperatures range from a low of 51 degrees Fareheit (10.5 Celsius) to a high of 66 degrees Farenheit (16 Celsius).
